Bling-tastic….

Crappy title and all, but who cares? It’s late.

I bought these at Sally’s and decided to try them. They were $3.99 and were very easy to apply. You first apply your base coat and then peel and stick. Simple as that. I usually don’t have polish on more than two days and that’s how long I had these on. Two days. In those two days, they did not peel or anything. Pretty good for the the short time I had them on. Now… you may be asking me, why didn’t you leave them on longer. Answer – because I usually don’t have more than two days off of work at a time. And I can’t wear polish or anything at work, so they had to come off.

Duping It Out! Yo-Ho!

On the way to work yesterday, I stopped at Rite Aid to have a look around. I found the SinfulColors Adventure Island collection and grabbed a few. Well, I couldn't stop thinking about them, so I stopped and grabbed the rest of them today. There are 8 in all and they sell for $2 compared to the $8.50 for the OPI. Some of the SC are a bit darker than the ChG, but that's okay, there are still some great dupes.

Let's start off with the China Glaze Pirates of the Caribbean collection. I only picked up four from this collection: Mermaid's Tears, Steady and She Rose, Sparrow Me the Drama, and Planks a Lot. These are $8.50 at Ulta.

Next: SinfulColors Adventure Island collection. I picked up all of this collection seeing as how they are only $2 for each at Rite Aid. They are: Rise and Shine, Open Seas, Star Fish, Verbena, Easy Going, Seaweed, Adventure Island, and Beautiful Girl.

SC - Verbena & ChG - Planks a Lot

SC- Star Fish & ChG - Sparrow Me the Drama

SC - Open Seas & ChG - Mermaid's Tears

Well, there you go. Pirates duping it out. If you could not get a hold of the China Glaze collection, the SinfulColors would be your next best choice. Plus, it's cheaper.

Coookie Mooonster!!!

My mother is having a little get-together and instead of the normal food, we decided that we would have cookies instead. All kinds of cookies! Now, we aren't really dessert type people, but we put together a list of delicious cookies for the party. So in the cookie spirit, I decided to paint my nails for the occasion. I tried some other colors and found that I liked the blue more. The more I looked at it, the more it reminded me of the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street.

I used Sinful Colors Savage and Nirvana for the main color and the chips. Revlon's Gray Suede (not pictured) for the actual cookie. Savage has a matte finish to it.

Cookies don't always turn out perfectly round. I like them to have a home made feeling to them. :)

Too tired to turn pics or to clean up. Haha. Nighty night.

Haul #2

Got these from Sally's on Monday.
Orly, China Glaze, Finger Paints, and two free hand bags.
I picked up two Finger Paints colors that I thought were different until I got them home. They are the EXACT SAME THING just with different names! Now, I don't mind, but come on. Really? Anywho, they are now comfortable in my collection, so I guess they can both stay.

You got a free bag if you bought 3 Finger Paints polishes. I bought 3 at one Sally's and 3 at another. I'm so glad I have two Sally's in my town. If one is out of something then I go to the other one where they have the rest of what I was looking for, ha.

Before I go I have to say something. While I was shopping for my polishes, I set them out on the display so I could see what all I had. Well, with no one around I went to get a basket. As I bend down to get the basket, this woman and her friend come in and make a B line for the displays; and she picks up my polishes! I freaked out a little, hahaha. I stood up and said "Oh, no those are mine! I had to get a basket!" Without thinking I reached in and grabbed them from her reach and put them in the basket. It is confirmed. I am a nut case when it comes to my polishes.

My Storage Type of Thing.

Sooo this is my set up. Not much of anything, but I do what I can in the space that I have. Eventually I will get a polish rack so that they are not in a box or a cutlery tray, ha. Ignore the fact that I have black curtains with green walls and blue trim. I plan on changing all that soon. :)

Hey, it works for me at the moment.

China Glaze and FingerPaints. The thing it's sitting on is actually from Staples. It was about $25 and was meant to be for my make up. I still have my palettes in the back. It has two shelves, three drawers and a space in the back where the palettes are. Then I have my polish removers, files, and what not next to it.

The drawers have tips, glues, loose eye shadows, charms off of polishes, nail art, and more junk.

Next to that we have this cutlery tray. Full of just randomness.

And then we have THE BOX. (Note: "THE BOX" was meant to be said in a scary, deep voice made to scare little children to keep them from entering "THE BOX"...)
Yeah, I got this at Bog Lots.

We have OPI, elf, Claire's, Coach, and top coats.

So that's pretty much it. 155 polishes. Not bad considering I've only been collecting since February of this year.
As always...

A polish that I luuuuurve!

So this is one of the random polishes that I picked up on my last haul. It's called 'Bite the Bullet' by Wet n' Wild.
I love it. Seeing it in pictures now seriously makes me want to take off my current polish and replace it with this.
Warning: Picture Overload!!!

Now if you'll excuse me, I think I will take this pink junk off and put this little beauty on my nails.
